I have read both "Washington-A Life&q...Gunny,<br /><br />I have read both "Washington-A Life" and "Valley Forge". But might I also suggest the following for you:<br /><br />1. "The Winter Soldiers", by Richard Ketchum; an older book well worth reading if you have not read it. Written about Washington and the Continental Army after the fall of New York.<br /><br />2. "A Devil of a Whipping, The Battle of Cowpens", by Lawrence Babits; one of my favorite books on the Revolution.
