Obama's fault!

What I fear is that this generation now coming up has no idea of what it means to be patriotic and to love their nation and thus, serve in the military. I DO know that when ...Buck,

I did not know that!

I DO know that when I was a young PFC, before Ronaldus Magnus was elected, we still had jeeps and gamma goats from the FIFTIES! I believe in using equipment as much as possible before junking it but that was too much.

BTW, numerous Army units fought well in the Puan Perimeter, I was not leaving them out. Both of my uncles were grunts in Korea in the Army and saw a lot of combat.

May all who gave all rest in peace and honor.Gunny Ghttp://theantiliberalzone.blogspot.comnoreply@blogger.comtag:blogger.com,1999:blog-2498935428328071228.post-78048578048570486372011-05-30T07:57:17.349-07:002011-05-30T07:57:17.349-07:00Gunny,

In one episode it said the Army did the very thing the Corps had done earlier. Except the Army waited until Korean brawl broke out then went back to all the islands for tanks, jeeps and such. They shipped the equipment directly to Japan where they were refitted and sent to Korea.
Kinda shows the different trains of thought. The Jarheads did it before they needed it; the Army didn't. But both raided the Pacific battlefields.Bucknoreply@blogger.com
