ALL HAIL BARRY, CAESAR WANNABE

Imperator Barry, the lost idiot from a village in Hawaii, or Kenya, depending on your POV, just designed a new way to wage war! Hell, WHO needs Congress when we have our own little pencil-neck wannabe caesar?

Why, we just start a "kinetic action" as caesar is wont to call it, drop a few bombs, pop a few caps, put a few troop's lives on the line (something Barry and 99% of the libtards have never experienced), then call a time out for tea! Take a chill, have a beer summit or two, give a few speeches taunting the right, pandering to the illegals, and maybe take a vacation or two. Then bada bing, bada boom, start up again, getting a new 60 days to play general.

What exactly is an act of war?

Title 18, Part 1, Chapter 113B § 2331 of US Code, under Definitions, Subsection C, paragraph (4) states:

the term "act of war" means any act occurring in the course of—

(A) declared war;
(B) armed conflict, whether or not war has been declared, between two or more nations; or
(C) armed conflict between military forces of any origin;

in other words, an act of aggression by a country against another with which it is nominally at peace.

So caesar writes a letter to the Congress basically telling them to suck on it, for caesar has decided that the war started by his three stooges (Hitlery, Ms Cass Sunstein, and Susan Rice) really doesn't fall under the War Powers Act of 1973. Little caesar basically mewls that the "kinetic action" is all NATO led. Hmm. Since NATO is, for all intents and purposes, led by the United States, and since NATO is a defense treaty, wherein an attack on one member is any attack on all, then it stands to reason that an attack BY NATO involves the US up to Obama's jug ears.

Another point is that whenever caesar uses the word "kinetic" to describe the war in Libya, it is pure bullsh*t, a non-term to try and sound impressive. Merriam-Webster has the definition of kinetic as: a : active, lively b : dynamic, energizing, resulting from motion. So, a "lively action?" a "dynamic action?" or better still, a "motion action?" This quote is from one Obama's turdsniffers:

"The US role is one of support and the kinetic pieces of that are intermittent."

This is what happens when you put moronic liberals in power, idiots who are used to parsing words, saying things like, "it depends on what you definition of "is," is. The War Powers Act of 1973 says that ANY act of war falls under this Act. That is, ANY action, kinetic or otherwise, after 60 days, requires CONGRESSIONAL APPROVAL.

Oh, and speaking of the gutless Congress, this pile of bull dung lies at their feet also because they continue to allow caesar to circumvent the law of the land, the US Constitution, and THAT, makes them as culpable as Barry and his minions are. The American people have said that enough is enough as far back as July 4, 2009, when ObamaKare was being rammed down their throats.

The Left is also guilty as hell for their continued silence equals consent. Bush 43 has a CLEAR reason to go into Iraq, as Saddam had violated all of the terms of the Gulf War cease fire AND the UN resolutions (not worth the damn paper they are written on), AND he was shooting at the planes enforcing the no-fly zone. Saddam used nerve and mustard gas against the Kurds, committing genocide, and it was clear to anyone with a working brain that Saddam and this thugs were still playing at war. Bush 43 GOT Congressional approval, when in fact, he truly did not need to but he followed the letter of the law.

This regime does NOT believe in the rule of law and they have pissed on the Constitution since taking power. Those who are silent on this issue are guilty as well and those who voted fr Obama are perhaps, the most to blame for the information was out there that Obama was a corrupt piece of crap, they ignored it, and voted for Obama.

Time to fish or cut bait Congress, the Republic is on the line.

NOT THE CHANGE AMERICA NEEDS

  1. I was being intermittently kinetic at a beer summit just the other day, when a small war broke out without congressional approval. It happens every day. Someone hollers last call, the bugle sounds retreat, and we come back and start again the next day. No continuous action - intermittent.

  2. C'mon man, the war powers act only pertains to wars...not kinetic military actions!
    It's Obamaspeak FKA Clintonspeak!

Got something potentially unpopular? Just rename it into nicer sounding words to remove the guilt!

No, your honor it wasn't "rape"...it was partially consentual sex in which my client consented fully!

How about the MSM on the ground in Libya ask the LIBYANS who are being bombed for THEIR oppinion as to whether this is a "war" or, not?

This is a case of Chairman Zero simply trying to see what he can get away with.
And as with any spoiled child, if he pulls this off, his next stunt will be much larger.

  3. Funny thing. Every president, whether Republican or Democrat, seems to think he HAS to have a war under his belt before his presidency ends.
Maybe not Eisenhower, Nixon and Ford.
But it was Ike who put "Advisors" in S Viet Nam long time before JFK.
Nixon inherited LBJ's debacle and Ford really didn't have time to start anything.
Carter had his desert catastrophe which sent him scurrying back under the bed.
    Reagan had Grenada,
Bush 41 had Desert Storm, which HE generaled to the point that
    After Clinton had Kosovo
Bush 43 had to finish it off in Iraq.
Now Zero campaigns on getting out of Iraq and Afghanistan. Then goes off attacking another arab country.
It seems to me a POTUS with control over the military is much akin to a small child left alone in a room with a loaded firearm.
Sooner or later someone is going to get hurt.
    Really hurt.
Kinda like The 'Nam and General LBJ....

  4. Gunny,
I understand that a few days ago the GOP sent a letter to Obama about this war in Libya. I don't know how he reacted to it. He most likely told them to stick it in their ear.
But this speech against Israel, and the killing of Osama bin Laden has gotten attention away from this stupid war. In other words our efforts would have been better spent elsewhere. This president is so ignorant it is pathetic.

  5. The seal reminds me of Marc Antony, wanted to be Caesar and Pharoah of Egypt as well, ended up with neither.

  6. Yeah, Gunny, I agree. Congress absolutely MUST confront him on this.

Two reasons: one, preserve the power of Congress itself as the constitutional authority with the war-making powers.

But especially for the GOP, what's holding them back? If ANYTHING is a ripe issue with which to confront the demagogue in the WH, THIS is it!

It's also hilarious that whenever Dems get the power, they all of a sudden become these "warrior" hawk types, when they spend MOST of their time protesting all military action of any kind. Talk about hypocrisy!

This goes aaaaaaaaaall the way back to Vietnam.

  8. Sepp,

You nailed it perfectly. The Lapdog Media bent over and stayed bent over for BJ Bubba. No wonder they have the credibility of Baghdad Bob.

  9. Buck,

Great post. We seriously need to get back to protecting OUR INTERESTS and those alone. Time for Europe to protect themselves and if they can't, too frigging bad. As the saying goes, "keep our intentions clear and our sword sharp."

  10. Nanna,

The BIG problem with the petulant little caesar is that he has BIG toys at his disposal and doesn't have a clue as to their impact. It is all I, I, I, me, me, me, and after doing a "weekend at bernies" with OBL on the campaign trail, we can expect more of it. The more desperate "the won" gets, the more danger we're in.

  11. Pack Rat,

Exactly right, I PRAY that Jan 2013 brings Barry heading back to Kenya, Hawaii, Indonesia, ANYWHERE but back to the WH.

  12. Congressman BrianR,

BINGO! If I was in the Congress, it would be a full on dogfight and piss on Barry if he did not like it. I'd be holding townhalls and be on the tube raising Cain about it. There would be Hell to pay.

  13. Ain't anyone wearing an R in Congress who wants to be labled as a racist. Only reason not to confront the sob that makes any sense to me. Damn ALL their hides by NOT confronting the prick.
