ANOTHER GREAT MOMENT IN LIBERAL HISTORY II

Boy THIS sure worked out well for the US Taxpayer huh?

EXCERPT: NEW YORK — A report that the US government plans to sell off much of its remaining stake in General Motors this year despite the firm's lackluster share price caused investors to flee the stock Tuesday. After the Wall Street Journal reported a government sale could come within the next six months, GM's shares fell by nearly 1.3 percent to end at $29.59.

The government sale would "almost certainly" mean that US taxpayers would take a loss from a politically controversial $50 billion rescue of the auto giant in 2009, according to the paper. The government would need to sell its roughly 500 million shares for $53 dollars each in order to break even, but GM's stock is currently hovering at a price of just under $30 per share. At the current price, the government would lose more than $11 billion, but the Obama administration is willing to accept the loss in order to cut its last ties to the auto manufacturer, the newspaper said, citing unnamed sources. The summer sale would make it more likely that the government could unload the remainder of its shares before the 2012 election season."
------------------------------------------------
So Obama is willing to accept the loss huh? Our Dear Reader of the Sacred Teleprompter and Wielder of the Intrepid Nine Iron is okay with losing 11 BILLION US TAXPAYER DOLLARS on  deal that HE created, in order to repay his Union buddies, and WE get stuck with the loss. Now that is an 11 BILLION DOLLAR LOSS at the current price. Considering that the Chevy Dolt is a piece of sh*t and steering wheels are falling off while GM products are rolling down the road, the stock price is headed south for the duration, and rightly so. In fact, the Gunny hopes that GM and Chrysler, and everything connected with the UAW payback from Obama, turns into a puddle of sh*t. So much for the 250+ BILLION bailout for Obama's UAW buddies.

And WHY does the Dear Reader of the Sacred Teleprompter and Wielder of the Intrepid Nine Iron want to sell off the stock ASAP, even though it screws the US Taxpayer yet again? Because he wants to avoid any problems arising in the 2012 election. Once again, it is all about the Affirmative Action Baby, not about what is good for the nation or the Treasury.

11 BILLION in a loss. That is almost 1/3rd of the "awesome" deal that the GOP got us in a budget cut. Does this loss include the unions being exempted from the cost of ObummerKare? Surely THAT adds another few billion into the deal. What makes this funny is that the supposed SMART folks, with Ivy League sheepskins, thought this bullsh*t up! Only a liberal would buy high and sell low! Real men of genius. NOT!

If this was a Republican president, the Lapdog media would wear this out like they wore out posting the death count in Iraq when Bush was in office, something they DON'T do with Obama and Afghanistan. Courtiers and bootlickers in the Fourth Estate, nothing more. Maybe we can get Cindy Shatehead to post 11 billion green dollar signs on the White House lawn like the white crosses the libpig posted in Crawford, Texas.

Like VD, this is another gift from the Left, Obama, Nutsy Baloney, and Dingy Reid, that keeps on giving.

  1. Zero is a regular economics genius. No wonder we are in the sorry state that we are in today.

After adding 5 Trillion to our debt what's a few billion more?

Buy high, sell low... great stragedy. Only a liberal can justify that one.

  2. Hardnox,

Even better, announce you're gonna dump the stock before you're ready to sell it! That way, it'll tank even more.

Obamanomics at work but at least the UAW workers got a nice 5K bonus out of it all.

How in the hell are WE going to undo this frigging pile of cloward & piven. GOD HELP US all. We really need Lt. Col. Alan West or a REAL LEADER to LEAD US. Unlike king oblah blah ruling by presidential fiat/edicts like a 3rd world tin pot dicktraitor. We want OUR Republic BACK!!!!! Before it's too late, change it back. 4. To most people 11 billion sounds meaningless in these days of trillions being spent/wasted.
The $11 billion comes to approximately $80 per tax payer (not citizen).
Now, if everyone had to write a check out for $80 from their checking accounts, then we would really hear the outrage.
People think that just because Uncle Sam gets in to further debt by that amount, it is not costing them a dime.

  5. I knew you'd like that. When this IPO happened,I firmly believed the stock would see a short-lived run-up,due to liberals buying it,then, because Government Motors UNDERLYING problems STILL have not been addressed, the stock would fall. Look at GM lots. TONS of unsold inventories. Not good, especially for the taxpayers. The asshat administration WILL continue to prop this dinosaur up. Should have let it go Chapter 11 on it's own.

  6. A lot of money down the drain in order for Obama to buy union votes...which means that OUR taxpayer money was spent to reelect this clown in a roundabout way.

Did the govt need to "save" GM?
    No.
GM would have filed for reorganization and, come out better off than it would have after being "saved".
The ONLY reason Obama threw money at GM was because filing bankrupcy would have voided the UAW contracts and cause the UAW to have to negotiate from scratch for a new contract.
WE paid billions to save a contract, not a company.

  7. "If this was a Republican president the lapdog media would wear this out..."

With all due respect, wrong, Gunny.

The lapdog media would be all over it ONLY if the Republican president appeared to be doing it for conservative reasons.
If this was any president doing this it would be applauded by the lapdog media. It's not the party so much as the ideology.

  8. drogers,

Thanks for the kudos. I was laughing like Hell typing it and what makes it funny is that its TRUE!

How to undo this mess? I fear we're past the tipping point because there are so many clueless and stupid people out there who listen to the hype instead of looking at the actions, and then voting. Not to mention millions of illegals, illegally voting early and often for Obama and his minions.

  9. American Thinker,

That is a great point and what a way to get the message across. If Americans had to pony up the dough for each boondoogle vice the gov't being able to juggle the books and hide it, lynch mobs would be roaming the streets looking for the pols.

  10. clyde,

Thanks on that. They left ALL of the problems that got them into trouble, in place, i.e., the UAW. We're gonna get soaked on this one and what makes it worse is that the GOP will ignore the entire UAW bailout scam come 2012.

  11. Sepp,

Thanks for the comment and I wonder WHY we never heard that from our leaders in the GOP? That just pisses me off even more.

  12. Buck,

You're right on that one. If we had a REAL Fourth Estate, that dimed out politicians instead of cocktail partying with them, much of this crap would be exposed and never happen!
