OBAMA, GAS/FOOD PRICES, AND LEADERSHIP

Way back in the 80's, when the Gunny was at Camp Lejeune, there was a mishap with an artillery round that killed a woman. The Battalion C.O., probably miles away from the cannon that fired that fateful round, was relieved of his command, as was most of the leadership, right down to the honcho of the gun crew. Why? Because they were in charge.

The Gunny once got his ass chewed on by the Division Sergeant Major because one of the Gunny's troops had a mishap at ANOTHER camp, about 20 miles from where the Gunny was! Why? Because the Gunny was in charge. (Sh*t rolled downhill THAT day!)

The point being that when one is in charge, one is responsible. Period. The Captain of a ship, the Commanding Officer of a Battalion, the Platoon Commander, and the President of the United States. You own it all, you're the boss!

But that ain't all.

EXCERPT: "In January, Investor’s Business Daily grabbed reality by the scruff of its neck, shook it, and reported, “The bailout of General Motors wasn't supposed to cost taxpayers. In fact, the promise was that taxpayers would profit. Now the government says the bailout's a loser. No one should be surprised. Washington has handed out $50 billion to General Motors and another $35 billion to Chrysler and GMAC to keep those companies in business. Taxpayers were told their money wouldn't end up lost in a rat hole. Of the 61 percent ownership the government once owned, it is now down to 26 percent, but to break even, the government would have to sell at $53 per share whereas it is now priced at less than $30 per share, a new low as of April 19."

And now we come to find out that the Obama regime is firing a CEO of a pharm company.

EXCERPT: "The Department of Health and Human Services this month notified Howard Solomon of Forest Laboratories Inc. that it intends to exclude him from doing business with the federal government. This, in turn, could prevent Forest from selling its drugs to Medicare, Medicaid and the Veterans Administration. If the government implements its ban, Forest would have to dump Mr. Solomon, now 83 years old, in order to protect its corporate revenue. No drug company, large or small, can afford to lose out on sales to the federal government, a major customer."

So how is this regime helping Americans with their energy costs and now, their drug costs? Let's examine that.

This regime has:

1.  stopped drilling in the deep waters of the Gulf of Mexico\
2.  ignored a Federal court on offshore drilling
3.  halted drilling in ANWR
4.  used the BLM to put several hundred thousands of acres in western states off limits to any exploration of natural resources
5.  used the EPA, as a rogue agency, to regulate substances w/o Congressional approval
6.  used regulations to "limit" or "slow" drilling permits
7.  forced US drilling rigs to abandon American waters for usage elsewhere, leased to foreign countries
8.  used US taxpayer money to subsidize the Chevy Dolt with kickbacks to GM/UAW/GE
9.  started a war in Libya that now hampers oil production there
10.  prefers high gas prices ala Stephen Chu's desire for "european gas prices" in the US

This regime has botched the war in Afghanistan, getting MORE US troops killed in the two years that Obama has been the potus (lower case befitting the stature of the red diaper baby) and now plans to put troops on the ground in Libya with NATO. (Hint: We ARE NATO folks, the euros are simply along for the ride.)

This regime has ignored the economic crises in America since day one and allowed Bernanke to buy back our debt with money from his right pocket, then put into his left pocket! (QE1/2) This regime has used our money to repay their cronies in the UAW, SEIU, and elsewhere. This regime sides with the commies calling for violent revolution (Van Jones, Piven, Trumka, and Stern), which is treasonous at its core.

This regime is forcing Americans into fiscal crises at home, with the rising price of gas AND FOOD, even as jobs are going away, all on purpose by a potus more interested in vacations and golf trips, than in leadership. Obama's absentee leadership would get him fired at the lowest level of management and it should get him fired in 2012.

The stupid masses and the guilty white liberals aside, this clown needs to go. He and his czars and advisors need to stand trial after being relieved of command because after all, when you run your ship aground, you stand before THE MAN at your Courts-Martial/Board of Inquiry.

What's good for the goose, is good for the gander. Darrell Issa, COME ON DOWN!
"We can't drive our SUVs and eat as much as we want and keep our homes on 72 degrees at all times ... and then just expect that other countries are going to say OK. That's not leadership. That's not going to happen." Obama 2008
OBAMANOMICS AT WORK IN AMERICA!

  1. He's reaching his goals. And today he used the birth certificate thing to take attention from Bernanke and from the fact that he's putting Penetta at the Pentagon and Petraeus, with no spook management experience at the CIA.

  2. Obama, like the rest of the rich left, do not care one iota about us little people, nor the American way.

  3. Obama wants all of the perks of the position, but would rather not take the flak.

He's putting Patraeus in a position where Patraeus will not be a political threat.

(Who would you vote for if your choice was Obama or Patreaus?)

  4. In the words of my hero, Bugs Bunny,

    "Now WAITAMINNIT!!!"

Thirty five billion to Chrysler AND GMAC?
    For the uninformed GMAC means
    General Motors Acceptance Corporation
i.e. They make inhouse loans at your local Chevy dealer.
    So
With fifty billion already going to GM how much of that thirty five billion went to GMAC????

  5. What's interesting to me is that the actions taken by the administration in the GM instance and in telling the pharm guy he -- and consequently his company if they don't fire him -- can "no longer do business with" the government actually fits the very definition of fascism, i.e. government control of private industry.

And yet libs run around with their hair on fire if you accuse them of being fascists.

    Hey, if the shoe fits...
