OH, RAISE THE DEBT CEILING PLEASE
The DEBT clock in graph form. Take a nice long look at the years the Libdolts ran the Kongress under Nutsy Pelosi and Dingy Reid.

Look at the war years 1941-45. That smidgen of growth was very alarming to people. As a young lad I remember my parents and relatives talking about the debt and the taxes. They defintely weren't happy campers. How the hell did we ever get in this condition? According to the graph the curve took a pretty dramatic upturn about 1976. Hmmm. Seems a lot of stuff took effect about then. Jimmy Carter. Roe v Wade. Lots of stuff.. Of course the upward trend seems pretty steep through the Reagan and Bush XLI years, too...
