  1. When one party is continually supporting programs that do nothing but hurt our country, opposing our Constitution, and giving aid and comfort to those who wish us ill, it is time to treat them as what they are....THE ENEMY! Screw civility. They are only civil to us when we step away from our own principles and allow them to get everything they desire.

  2. Don't be surprised to see the morons of the RNC try to put him out there. The assmunches seem to be hell-bent on 4 more years of Obama. Not with my help. Fuck'em. Twice.

  3. That idjit's as much of a conservative GOPer as Schitzenheader is.

In other words, he ain't one at all.

  4. Powell's full of crap.

Yeah, calls for "bipartisanship", as long as that means "YOU cooperate with what I want to do!".

    Here's my idea of bipartisanship:

"I'm a conservative, and YOU get on MY bandwagon, and we'll call it bipartisan".

That's what I'd do. Screw that "civility" and "bipartisan" BS. With few exceptions, all "bipartisan" means is that both parties ganged up on the American people to screw them. There's a reason we have at least two parties, and it's because government isn't SUPPOSED to be able to gang up on the peeps. There should be a robust -- or should I say "uncivil"? -- debate of ideas.

As I've written so many times, there was a time when congresscritters used to whack each other over the noggin with their canes on the floors of the congressional chambers. Some would have to be carried of for medical treatment. They'd pull guns on each other.

    The good old days!

Burr didn't kill Hamilton because they disagreed over the color of the drapes.

Anything the bluebloods do won't surprise me. About time we turned them out of the party forever.

  6. My idea of bipartisanship.....

We'll work with you when you decide to start adhering to the Constitution.

  7. West believes in American exceptionalism whereas Powell believes in compromise and quiet diplomacy.

This country doesn't need civil discourse, we need honest discourse. That honesty has been sorely lacking.
