OBAMA REGIME TO BYPASS CONGRESS (YET AGAIN)

EXCERPT: "Robert Ford to become first US ambassador to Damascus since 2005; opponents say move rewards Syrian regime for bad behavior. US President Barack Obama has bypassed the US Senate and directly appointed four new ambassadors, including Robert Ford, who will become the first US envoy to Syria since 2005."

and

"Specific senators had blocked or refused to consider the confirmations of the nominees for various reasons, including questions about their qualifications. But in the most high-profile case, that of the new envoy to Syria, a number of senators objected because they believed sending an ambassador to the country would reward it for bad behavior.

Obama nominated Ford, a career diplomat and a former ambassador to Algeria, to the post in February but his nomination stalled after his confirmation hearings and was never voted on.

The White House announced Wednesday that Obama would use his power to make recess appointments to fill envoy posts to Azerbaijan, Syria and NATO allies Turkey and the Czech Republic. Recess appointments are made when the Senate is not in session and last only until the end of the next session of Congress. They are frequently used when Senate confirmation is not possible.

The other Obama nominees announced Wednesday are Matthew Bryza for Azerbaijan, Norman Eisen for the Czech Republic and Francis Ricciardone for Turkey."

We have a set of rules that we expect our government to follow. Is there ANY reason WHY the Kenyan Usurper CANNOT wait a few weeks until the next session of Congress to nominate these four clowns for Senate review? After all, these seats have been empty for awhile, why the hurry? Just another bypass of the Constitution by a clown who sees it as a set of NEGATIVE laws that prevent government from doing whatever it wants to. Obama needs to be impeached and booted from the White House. Biden sucks but at least he is not the criminal Obama is.

Syria is a state sponsor of terrorism and Bush yanked our Ambassador in 2005, to protest the murder of Lebanese Prime Minister Rafik Hariri by Hezbollah (supported by Syria), who was an ally of the West. Wait, isn't Syria the nation that gave advanced SCUDS to Hezbollah? Oh, and isn't Syria building a nuclear reactor with North Korean help? Hmmm, could it be that Hanoi John Fonda Kerry being buddy-buddy with Syria's tinpot dictator that is influencing this move or is it typical Obama helping our enemies at the expense of the US and our allies?

As it goes with the Kenyan Usurper, if it doesn't involve treason, then FOLLOW THE MONEY. Thank GOD for Open Secrets.

Norman Eisen (a shyster to boot) has donated to:

$2,300 Obama, Barack (D)
$2,300 Biden, Joseph R Jr (D)
$2,300 Kissell, Larry (D)
$1,150 Edwards, Donna (D)
$1,150 Obama, Barack (D)
$1,150 Obama, Barack (D)
$1,150 Obama, Barack (D)
$1,000 Kanjorski, Paul E (D)
$1,000 Berkowitz, Ethan A (D)
$500 Rockefeller, Jay (D)
$250 Franken, Al (D)
$1,150 Obama, Barack (D)
$27,350 DNC Services Corp (D)

Also, Sen. Charles Grassley, R-Iowa, has an issue with Eisen who apparently made misrepresentations to Congress about the firing of a federal official. (In other words, he lied.)
-------------------------------------------------------------------------

Francis Ricciardone slammed the US during a speech in Egypt (another US apologist like Barry "I bow to foreign leaders" Obama:

"I mentioned how we deal with it in the United States. We have had such setbacks. We have had our soldiers, of whom we are very proud, fail in their duties under wartime stresses. We have had policemen, of whom we are very proud, from New York City and Los Angeles, and Washington and my city of Boston, fail under stressful conditions to uphold the law and their duty and their honor to their service."

Also, Sen. Sam Brownback, R-Kan., had concerns about Ricciardone's promotion of democracy while he was the Ambassador in Egypt.
---------------------------------------------------------------------------------

Matthew Bryza: Evidently, he is pro-Azerbaijani and of course, blamed the US for some "complicity" in Turkey's denials of the Armenian Genocide. (Did Barry apologize for that yet? If not, he can go bow to someone and kiss a little ass as well.) Not to mention that there are a lot of other questions that the Senate might want to ask him. Also, both Bryza and his wife, Zeyno Baran, have extensive ties with both Turkey and Azerbaijan so one has to wonder IF he can be objective or will he sell us out, as this regime and the Hitlery run State Dept seems so content to continue to do. Maybe Wikileaks will fill us in more on this clown's actions in the State Dept.

Oh, and Barry filled the No.2 spot at Holder's inept DOJ with a clown named James Cole with this bypass of the Congress. The very one who thinks that 9/11 was just another domestic crime like rape, murder, etc. Incompetence seems to be a common theme in this regime.

THE REAL OBAMA

Since the new Congress hasn't been seated yet, that means that those appointments expire next week!

  2. Craw,

    HAHA! We wish.

These recess appointments, like laws passed during a lame duck session, are bullshit.

  3. This clown knows no Constitutional restraints!

Where is the officer corps leading the troops, all of whom have sworn an oath to protect and defend the Constitution of the United States of America against all enemies, both foreign AND DOMESTIC??????

  4. Gunny,

From what I have read, Barry has about 500 nominations that still need to be confirmed. That’s amazing in itself since he had both a dim senate and house at his disposal for the last two years. Confirmations should have been a slam-dunk. Maybe if he had focused less on vacations he might have filled those posts. On the other hand, not filling those positions is probably best since they are all hacks. The nominees must all be so bad even the dims didn’t approved. How bad is that?

So far, Barry has made 28 recess appointments with a democratic senate that are supposedly on the same team compared to GW who made 23 total in his 2nd term all the while having a senate that opposed him at every turn. Presidents only use recess appointments when they have no chance for normal confirmation due to a hostile senate. Why he appointed these hacks is a good question.

Moreover, the left had the gall to call Bush inept and stupid. Barry has taken ineptness to new lows. Proof once again that 52% of our fellow citizens voted for an amateur.

  5. These kinds of things really get me. It's like how Congress is passing a law about banks then tacks on a half dozen unrelated laws to the same bill. It's ridiculous and not what the Founders intended.

  6. Buck,

I have no clue but it is apparent that this is what is going to have to happen to right the wrongs of this regime. Obama must think he's frigging Chavez or Zelaya, who think they can do whatever they want to.

Petraeus, once he takes over in 2013, needs to what Bush should have done in 2001, clean house of everyone with even a whiff of the shitty stench of liberalism on em. Liberals cannot be trusted for any job above pooper-scooper.

  7. Hardnox,

Obama is simply a petty tyrant who bypasses the Constitution at every turn.

The GOP lame duck Congress did not pass ONE piece of legislation before Nutsy Pelosi and her myrmidons took over.

  8. Paladin,

I/we could not agree with you more. It needs to be one bill for one item that ALL of the bums have read, no midnight "riders" attached at the last second.
