UPDATE ON INTERNET CENSORSHIP

The censorship of the internet sailed through a DEMOKRAT KONTROLLED KONGRESS.

HELLO PRAVDA, TASS. I wonder which commieczar will join the other little Stalins at the FCC? That book, "Liberal Fascism," nailed it. Soros = Totalitarianism = Demokrats

Songs of the Demokrat Party.

  1. The road to hell is paved with good intentions. While I support Intellectual property owners rights, giving the government the ability to shut down sites without due process is absurd. Here are the RINOs that voted for this power grab in committee:
    Lamar Alexander [R-TN]
    Thomas Coburn [R-OK]
    Lindsey Graham [R-SC]
    Charles Grassley [R-IA]
    Orrin Hatch [R-UT]

  4. Anon,

Lemme guess. You're 37, living with your parents, and dropped out of high school because you're too smart for school.

  6. curtis,

Exactly right. They simply cannot grasp the fact that we WILL NOT BE SILENCED! Too many guys and gals out here who are former military communications gurus. What's next? Seizing out cell phones? Banning printers? Printing presses?

  7. When I was in the Army back in the 90's the Army was selling old AN/PRC-77 radios. Wish I bought a couple.

  9. Jay Rockerfeller...
Isn't he a member of the family that coined the phrase, "Richer than Rockerfeller"?

Why do so many assholes who either they or their daddy or grand daddy made a fortune in the capitalist system...why do they want to destroy that system for the rest of us?
Maybe there should be a revival of "Doctor Zhivago". Maybe it would remind these idiots that when the Marxists take over they take EVERYTHING including existing wealth not only future income....

  11. Yeah, as usual this is just the toe in the door.

When they were first trying to pass mandatory seat belt use here in Commiefornia, the promise is that it would NEVER be the sole purpose for the traffic stop. The ticket for not using a seat belt would only be issued subsequent to a citation for another violation.

Please note the current "click it or ticket" approach. It turned out to be a big, fat lie. What a shocker, I'm sure.

    Same deal here.

As rik noted, the biggest issue for government pogues is that there are a lot of taxes not being collected because of internet sales. I'm sure that must drive them nuts, because they keep trying to pass laws that would enable the collection of taxes on those sales, most recently on internet sales of tobacco products. They did pass that law, but a federal judge has stayed implementation for a variety of reasons.

Then, of course, you can add in the effort to stifle free speech and debate. If there's one thing many political hacks hate, it's free speech. Look at McCain/Feingold.

  12. Buck,

    Because their attitude is thus:

"Hooray for me[and mine], and F**K the rest of you."

  13. rikdergis,

Funny how they've managed to take over health care, the food, communications, etc, all under Soros' puppet.

  14. BrianR,

I don't know why we let it happen, time after time after time.

I truly hope that for a CHANGE, we can finally hold these bums legally accountable.

  15. Brian, Gunny:
We let it happen time after time and still believe the lies.
Remember the 55 speed limit? Well, it was enacted for one year only to save gas. We were PROMISED it was for one year only. Then at the end of the year they said it saved so many lives they were going to make it permanent. It took Ronaldus Magnus to throw it out.
Yes, seat belts were first optional then mandatory but were not to be a cause for stopping anyone. Maybe that congressman was right comparing us with Homer Simpson. We sure go for the same ol schidt over and over...D-oohh!

"What's next? Seizing our cell phones?"

Well, yes, they did it in Iran during the demonstrations while they were beating and raping the people. The powers that be also intend to take total control here in once free USA, and they will stop at nothing.
