THE SECOND AMERICAN REVOLUTION

HAPPY BILL OF RIGHTS DAY!

Over the past couple of days the Gunny has given some examples of the early militia, and the intent of our Founding Fathers to provide the people with the means to resist a tyrannical government. The Second Amendment provides the American people with the materials required for a revolution, that much is certain, but could the Founders have foresee a time in our history when we have a radical liberal POTUS, steeped in leftist ideology, and a serial narcissist to boot, as well as a Congress and Senate staffed with radical liberals that Barry Soetoro has installed, in many cases bypassing the Constitution, the Congress, and/or the Senate? That we are also faced with RINO quislings and a SCOTUS that could not tell the Constitution from a philly cheese steak as well as a greedy and aggressive UN desperately seeking relevancy through a one-world government?

Did they foresee that a presidential "czar" one Elizabeth Warren, was actually speaking about a leftist revolution and seizing control?

Has it come to the point where we must consider this:

"That whenever any Form of Government becomes destructive of these ends, it is the Right of the People to alter or to abolish it, and to institute new Government, laying its foundation on such principles and organizing its powers in such form, as to them shall seem most likely to effect their Safety and Happiness."

Considering this lame duck Congress performing a "scorched-earth" policy, it is time for us to start asking ourselves some serious questions.

1. How far has the State to go before we rise up?
2. What should be the extent of our response?
3. Is there another avenue of approach than violence?
4. As an Oathkeeper, what is my responsibility towards Law Enforcement that sides with the oppressors?

The Gunny hopes that we NEVER have to rise up to replace our government but if certain things happen, will we allow ourselves to become slaves or fight and possibly die as free men and women? How many Americans will sit it out or more likely, join with the oppressors, who will promise them anything and everything, as they are already doing?

We must remember one thing and that is, OUR revolution was violent towards the enemy and the Tories (1777) but when it was over, we embraced peace. However, in the four other serious revolutions since then, all of them have degenerated into violent bloodshed and butchery. The French Revolution was so bad that Jefferson, who embraced it first, was revolted by it later. When the commies took over Russia in 1917, it was a slaughter. Castro and Che murdered their opponents like the Marines were landing in Havana! And in Mexico in 1910, millions were killed as a corrupt party took control of the nation. In all of them, sooner or later, a dictatorship took over. Will the Second American Revolution end such?

Currently, Hillary Clinton is the SecState and has voiced support for the UN Small Arms Treaty, which in reality, is a global gun grab and a subjugation of national sovereignty. Obama, as a radical leftist, of course supports it as well. George Soros is advising and funding this regime and all of their various groups, i.e., Media Matters, Center for American Progress, moveon.org, HuffHo, etc, and they are all hand-in-glove with the UN’s stance of a global government. In addition, this regime ALMOST has the SCOTUS in their pocket. In time, they will reduce our Constitution to, as Associate Justice Breyer writes, "a living document."

What do we do next? Are we out of options at that point? Do we rise up in righteous ire?

What do we do if an incident erupts in, say, Nowheresville, Texas, where a group of Americans refuse to disarm and a siege sets in. Remember that when the FBI put the Montana Freemen under siege, other Americans showed up armed and ready, in the FBI’s rear-area, waiting and watching. The reader will remember that this siege occurred after Janet Reno’s slaughter fest at Waco and Ruby Ridge, where the FBI shot and killed Americans for a minor felony committed by Randy Weaver. It should be noted that the Montana Freemen siege was settled peacefully. Why? Because Americans stood up to the tyranny of the Clinton Regime and that idiot Janet Reno. Was the FBI nervous? Probably. Was that a good thing? Probably.

This time however, shots would be fired on both sides, and Americans on both sides are dead. Many American citizens (80 million plus are gun owners), would grab their guns, while the government organizes a response. How far are we willing to go? Many people, especially on the Left, take about revolution but they need to remember that they/we will be shooting their fellow Americans, not a foreign enemy. Indeed, it may again be brother against brother, etc. To the Left, the ends justifies the means, just as the Ukrainians in the Holodomor or the Cambodians under Pol Pot.

If the government backs down, what do we do then? What if they don’t? Say Obama declares martial law across the land, vacates the 2012 elections because of the "crisis", and he is backed by the SCOTUS? What if half of the military deserts to our side but others don’t, so are they now the enemy? Are they honoring their enlistments/appointments or are they now the oppressors? Do we go all of the way at this point? Is the entire government the enemy? As noted above, "whenever any Form of Government becomes destructive of these ends, it is the Right of the People to alter or abolish it, to institute new Government…" Those are OUR marching orders. That is our duty as free Americans.

But what of our fellow citizens who either oppose us or do-nothing? Remember, 33% of Americans in 1776 OPPOSED the Revolution and another 33% DID NOT GIVE A D*MN either way! How will we potential revolutionaries handle that? Former Congressman Dornan stated on 25 Jan 95, that the Second Amendment was not for hunting game but rather, "it is for hunting politicians." How do we do THAT without alienating a majority of our fellow Citizens?

Back in 2008, the Gunny noted on then Illinois senator Obama’s official website, MyObama, a group called "Marxists/Socialists/Communists for Obama" wrote:

"This group is for self-proclaimed Marxists/Communists/Socialists for the election of Barack Obama to the Presidency. By no means is he a true Marxist, but under Karl Marx’s writings we are to support the party with the best interests of the mobilization of the proletariat."

In other words, revolution in America brought about by the Democrats. Oddly enough, it is Van Jones, a former czar of this regime, who is preaching: "top down, bottom up, inside/out" chaos designed to bring about a leftist revolt in America, as we are seeing in Europe. We on the Right have peacefully marched on Washington DC not once but TWICE and did it peacefully. Noted that when the Leftists marched on DC, they preached violence and left the place trashed.

So what is our trigger point? When and If the Left rises up as they see their last great chance to destroy the Constitution and America as we know it slip away by 2012 (when we throw Barry into the same pile with clowns like Carter)? Is it when the left vacates our Bill of Rights and shreds the Constitution as they are already doing? (Nutsy Pelosi: "are you serious? Are you SERIOUS?")

All the Gunny can say is that we continue to fight for our Rights peacefully but prepare for the worst, should it come. LtCol Lakin stood up to be counted and it taking the heat for his refusal to deploy under an illegal president. Our Founding Fathers put EVERYTHING, including their lives, on the line during the Revolution, can we be any different? Will we roll over and allow the left to turn America into a third-world nation along the lines of France or do we fight to return America to her former greatness and exceptionalism? Are we ready to go to prison or die for our beliefs as it appears the Left is?

  1. Are you sure you want to use such violent rhetoric? Do we really want another Oklahoma city bombing or a nutjub flying another plane into a IRS building? I understand you're upset about the president, but wouldn't organizing around voting Obama out be a better option then egging people on to shoot him?

  2. Gunny you have posed some dire questions that must be addressed before any action is taken. I like you and many others hope that it never comes to a violent conflict to save our country but if it get to a point where the choice has to be made I'll stand against this tyrannical government. You asked so many serious questions I'll just address the one I feel is most pertinent: "what of our fellow citizens who either oppose us or do-nothing?" Those who do nothing would have nothing done to them. While I despise a coward I can't make their choice for them. But those who would oppose us would get the same treatment as the tyrants in government. If you do not treat them the same you stand a good chance that the next republic will be infected with the same vermin that caused the crisis in the first place.
    I'm glad you put this post up because people who love their country need to think about these eventualities should a revolution take place.

    Did you READ this essay or merely pull a lib and scan through it, wetting yourself at the "bad" parts?

    First of all, those nutjobs were either idiots like McVeigh with NO attachment to the right OR outright LEFTISTS who crashed his plane into the IRS building.

    Second of all, YOUR PRESIDENT'S czar Liz Warren is OPENLY advocating revolution as are a number of radical leftists. If they think we're just gonna bend over for it, wrong answer.

    Third, Obama be damned. He is just a tool. For example, this CONGRESS is in clear violations of the Constitution, i.e., SB 510. ONLY the House of Representatives can levy taxes (fees) yet the Senate tried to pull a fast one.

    Now, they are ramming through a HUGE spening bill in a lame duck session. MORE WASTE. MORE PORK!

    THIS IS WHAT PISSES US OFF and it is YOUR PARTY doing it!

    I pray that when and if it hits the fan, much of the military and local law enforcement takes our side, which I am fairly certain they will. They are of US and not of the verminous leftist.

    Your answer was dead on the money. What is upsetting is that so many Americans are so ready to sign away their freedom for a "promise" of security from a government that is staffed by liars, thieves, and scum.

  7. Excellent piece Gunny. Question, Why are so many republicans backing this START ratification? Who is making money off of this deal? Does congress even know that Russian Parliament revoked its ratification due to the myriad of changes added by the senate? If Russia isn't going to comply, then why are we?(assuming it was worthwhile in the first place which it isn't) Something is definitely up here. Keep up the good work.

    Now Demint looks as though he too is backing off START opposition. The only thing I can find money wise is $180 Billion for Nuclear Improvements are also included. Looks like that is what bought the republican votes. You got anything more? I'm still not convinced that is it. Why would any of them be ratifying it if Russia just revoked their ratification?

  14. Good, thought provoking article Gunny.

    My family has been in the US since 1705. We have fought in every war in this country since then. During the US War Between the States, we fought on both sides. Most of my family has served in or are presently serving in the US military.

    My decision was made over 25 years ago when I became intelligent enough to see the path our country was taking. The oath that I took when I joined the USAF was to the US Constitution. That oath does not have an expiration date. If worse comes to worse (and I pray that it doesn't), I will follow that oath and take up arms.

    The last line of the Declaration of Independence says it best:

    "And for the support of this Declaration, with a firm reliance on the protection of divine Providence, we mutually pledge to each other our Lives, our Fortunes and our sacred Honor."

    Actually, I DID answer it. Note my reference to the LEFT who is working to incite violence, i.e., SEIU beatdowns, leftists flying their plane into IRS buildings, and the latest, a leftist who shot up a school board.

    Also, isn't it, as I stated in the essay, Elizabeth Warren, a leftist and Obomunist, openly talking about revolution?

    Y'all might want to be careful what you wish for considering how angry Americans are. Note that 13% approved leftist lame duck Kongress.

    I'm not so sure about law enforcement taking our side.
    More than is healthy for the country is the number of law enforcement with a king sized ego and desire to control others.
    As to the military. When you look at the likes of Mullins, Powell and other top echlon senior officers, do you actually believe these lickspittles would stand up for the Constitution? They have pretty much sold their honor for a place at the table already. Should push come to shove any support from the military would probably be officers not of flag rank and NCO's. But I wouldn't bet on that, either. You can only make up your mind to stand alone.
    Your main opposition will be the same alphabet agencies that caused Ruby Ridge and burned men, women and children to death in Waco.
    Expect no less from them in the future.
