WHY CONSERVATISM
The Gunny got an email from a lib asking why the Gunny was so against liberals and liberalism and what was so great about Conservatism.
We’ve discussed the ills of liberalism on many occasions but the question of why "we" think Conservatism is so great caught the Gunny’s interest. Here is his answer.
Liberals see Conservatives and Conservatism as the enemy, as we witness them making a Faustian Bargain with the Islamofascists, aligning themselves against the interests of the United States, i.e., oil drilling bans, which can only end badly for them. However, Conservatism is not just an ideology, us against them, like Liberalism is; it is much deeper than that because it is how we think that sets us apart from the Left. For example, the Left latched on to the globull warming/cooling/disruption scam like Lindsey Lohan snatching up a crack vial (or more recently, a necklace) and can’t seem to let it go whereas Conservatives and Conservatism in general, is forming an opinion based on facts, reason, and logic. We think globull warming is bullshit, it is revealed to be a lie through the East Anglia emails, failed hurricane predictions, the failed "ice age" predictions of the 70’s, and we observe Owl Gore fleeing debates with Lord Monckton like Senator Boxer running from God on "brain installation day!" Thus, we can logically conclude that it is all bullshit, made up to make the elites money while screwing us, and know that our opinion is grounded in logic, and ignore their stupidity but the Left can’t and won't let it go. That is why Obama subsidizes Government Motors piece of shit Volt with our money.
Conservatives also know that while everyone is born equal, not everyone lives equal lives and we deal with it. Consider the oil company who explores a region, shells out money and time in doing so, drills wells, and ultimately brings a product that people want, need, and desire to market. Do they not deserve to make a profit? Hell yes. Do they not deserve to make as much as the market will bear? Again, hell yes. We still believe that if you make a better mousetrap, the world will beat a path to your door. Liberals, on the other hand, see forcing equality on us because their need to control the masses requires it. How can you have a Bill Gates, for example, who invents something and profits from it under liberalism? You can’t! He’d be taxed and regulated and his money redistributed by some faceless bureaucrat to the human leeches whereas Conservatives would profit by inventing software or hardware to IMPROVE on Gate’s invention. Some win, some lose, that is life. Is there corruption? Hell yes. But what is more corrupt is the Democrat's slush fund called Fannie Mae and Freddie Mac because who watches the watchdog?
Along those lines, liberals believe in taking the fruit’s of one’s labor, usually through mandatory programs like the Ponzi Scam called Social Security or Earned Income Credit, and redistributing it to those who "seem" to need, usually ushering in high levels of fraud, waste, and abuse. In contrast, Conservatives believe in private charity that exists on a local level, for example, giving to the local church(es) so that local residents in need, who are KNOWN to be in need, can receive the help they need. There is no stigma in needing a hand UP but there SHOULD be a stigma attached to a hand "out" as Benjamin Franklin pointed out. We Conservatives are ordinary people who have learned our values from our families, our church, our neighborhoods, and our own personal integrity and responsibility and that develops our attitude on what work and life are all about. That is why we can look on someone’s personal difficulties and not blame them on society but rather, the product of his/her personal choices, their lack of or misuse of their God-given skills, a run of bad luck, or more likely, their lack of honesty and efforts to make something of themselves because liberals tell them that it is "not their fault" they suck. We embrace family values and traditional beliefs not because we do not want to “progress” but because we know that this is what keeps our lives solidly grounded in decency and honesty and hard work, as well as giving it purpose and human value. We know instinctively that forced diversity and forced equality only leads to equal misery for us (but not the elites).
Liberals stand for nothing and thus, fall for everything, and that is why they get sucked into social program after social program, benefiting us with their Harvard or Columbia "expertise" while lightening the load in our wallets! They HAVE to get something back for that high-priced sheepskin and thus, they HAVE to implement their "make society a utopia" programs and with a centralized government, they also liberate the tax money necessary to keep them running. This is in line with their condemnation of personal morality, personal responsibility, family values, and religion (bitter clingers) because those ideas, loved ones, and organizational thinking interferes with their ability to swap out one interchangeable drone for another. We, on the other hand, seek to reduce taxes and red tape because individual Americans make better decisions for their own lives than the ivory-towered nitwits like Holdren, Chu, Obama, etc. Consider the stance of one Doctor John "Kill Em All" Holdren, who in his asinine book "Ecoscience", outlined his sick plan to create a race of interchangeable drones and oddly enough, the Leftist media never said boo about it. To the Left, it is all about management of a "system" while to us, it is all about happiness and living the life God meant for us. That is why we’re more patriotic, honest, loyal, and law-abiding because we feel an obligation to a nation that provides us a safe, secure, and relatively uncorrupted place to raise a family in.
To a Conservative, the customs, traditions, values and beliefs are the glue that binds a society which is why we react so angrily to the Left’s continued attacks on marriage, the military, our religion, the Constitution, and our basic way of life. When the Left attacks marriage, for example, they malign the sanctity of it, poo-poo the obligations of a marriage between a man and a woman, they undermine the ability of one generation of Americans to raise the next generation of Americans in the same manner that they were raised in, believing in the same traditions and customs that their parents and grandparents believed in. We, as Americans, owe the past just as much as we owe the future, because as Ronaldus Magnum stated, "Freedom is never more than one generation away from extinction. We didn't pass it to our children in the bloodstream. It must be fought for, protected, and handed on for them to do the same, or one day we will spend our sunset years telling our children and our children's children what it was once like in the United States where men were free." By attacking our traditions, they attack the very root of Conservatism, which has been their game plan all along. As with communism, liberalism in their Nanny State style of thinking prefers the State to raise the next generation, not Mom and Dad. They're easier to indoctrinate that way.
In conclusion, conservatives have always recognized a community must be moral for the cohesion of both the individual and the society, which will produce a better way of life. Our Founding Fathers realized that and so should we. What we are seeing in America today is a last product of the 60’s hedonism that allowed hippies to rut in the mud at Woodstock and produce a generation of "Gimme-Gimme" parasites, enabled by liberals like Nutsy Pelosi, Obama, and Dingy Reid, who tell them they are owed! That they owe NOTHING to America, i.e., Waxman helping Code Pink at Fallujah, that the pussification of the US Military is okay, and that energy dependence on the largesse of our enemies is okay! Conservatism sees the necessity of traditions, customs, and values that embrace continuity and the inherent need to see things as right and wrong AND an adherence to those standards, not for power or self-aggrandizement but for the inheritance of freedom that follow-on generations are OWED by this generation and every follow-on generation. THAT is not only why the Left hates us but also why we are opponents of leftist tyranny at every turn, because we as Conservatives cherish the gift of freedom that was passed to us and want to pass it on to our children and their grandchildren. And the bottom line is that we WILL outlast the parasite class and their enablers because right and truth are values that cannot be supressed for long.

LIBERALS BETRAY AMERICA YET AGAIN

Now WHY would liberals do that?
Could it be that by crippling America, they can ensure shared misery among us? What do they gain by destroying the America that we all know and love (well, most of us anyway)?
Consider Steven Chu, another clown in Imam Obama's Administration. He wants us all walking or riding bicycles because horses fart a lot and that creates globull warming! He, like his lord and master Imam Obama, wants the coal industry bankrupted and gas around 10 bucks a gallon. How Americans will get to work then remains to be seen but our economy will likely be seriously damaged.
Or wannabe serial killer John "kill em all" Holdren, who thinks that our population needs to be "scaled down" through measures such as:
a. Forced abortions
b. Sterilization by infertility drugs intentionally put into our food and water
c. Infants taken from "unsuitable" parents and given away to other couples to raise
d. Forced sterilization for those unable to contribute to society
e. A "Planetary Regime" would assume control of the global economy and our lives, using an armed international police force.
He's likely onboard as an enviro-nazi who sees abundant energy sources as an evil thing to Gaia and thus, the less energy there is, the less humans there are, and THAT will make this clown happy.
So is it a control issue? The libs, being the elites they are, could control our energy usage, as well as our usage of food (SB 510 does much for that), and clowns like The First Grifter telling us what and what not to eat (even as THEY enjoy cheeseburgers, Kobe beef, etc).
China builds a new coal-fired power plant a MONTH while here in the US, enviro-nazis file bogus lawsuit after bogus lawsuit, until the builder says the hell with in and moves on. This is much like how liberals treat others businesses here in the United States, taxing and regulating the hell out of them until they too, move to greener pastures, which means OUTSIDE of the US.
Is this not a betrayal of us? Those of us who WANT to produce, who WANT to make money, grow our businesses, enjoy a good retirement (those days are long gone), and who rely on OIL and COAL because only OIL and COAL can produce the energy we need, are left in the lurch (no reference to John Kerry here), screwed over by the very government that is supposed to SECURE our RIGHTS to Life, Liberty, and the Pursuit of Happiness. The ONE THING that our government is actually chartered in the Constitution to do, and they botch it, and on purpose.
Indeed, the Left went full-blown moonbat when Palin declared "DRILL BABY DRILL" but who was right? She was. The United States is sitting on a sea of oil and natural gas, as well as piles of coal, yet the Left prevents us from drilling, refining, and mining at every turn, keeping millions of jobs from being created. Why?
Americans need to start asking these hard questions from their liberal representatives and firing the clowns who are in the pocket of the enviro-nazis. Owl Gore whines about the environment and lives in a huge mansion that burns more energy in a month that 4-5 "normal" homes do in a year, if the Gunny remembers right.
We are being sold a bogus bill of goods by elites who don't give a fat baby's ass what happens to us in the long run since, as usual, they've got their's so screw the rest of us.
If Governor Parnell, up here in Alaska, defied the Federal Imperial Government and started drilling, he'd be governor for life since jobs and revenue would flow back into Alaska, unlike 2010, where a whopping THREE oil wells were drilled. ANWR remains a desolate wasteland sitting on top of a massive reserve of oil, the Alaskan pipeline, an engineering marvel, runs at about 45% capacity (and declining), Americans are paying too damn much for gas, our economy is faltering, our enemies are pulling energy from offshore (and onshore), and we continue to support dictatorships and oppressive regimes.
Can there be any doubt that Liberals and their RINO henchmen are betraying America...AGAIN? The answer is clearly not no, but HELL NO!

How Thomas Jefferson must be rolling in his grave to have an American politician utter something so damningly stupid and moreover, an out and out LIE!

FLASHBACK - MCLAME THROWS ELECTION FOR SOROS
One has to wonder if the GOP threw the 2008 election for Obama. Has anyone considered that Juan McShamnesty quite possibly threw the 2008 Election because Soros told him to? After all, it appears that Ol’ Juan is in Soros’ pocket.

1. Back in 2001, Juan McShamnesty (hereafter referred to as JM) founded the Reform Institute (now defunct as of Feb 2008 – website is dead and gone). His donors included Soros’ Open Society Institute, the Tides Foundation, the Rockefeller Brothers Foundation, the Proteus Foundation, the Carnegie Corporation, and of course, AIG, among others (mostly left-wing and radical left-wing) foundations. 3. Arianna Huffington actually served on the Reform Institute's advisory committee since the very beginning. She hooked up the Shadow Conventions (nice play-off on Soros’ Shadow Government initiatives) which allowed JM to rail out about campaign financing and to ultimately squeeze out of his lower vent, the McShame-Feingold abortion. Soros paid for 1/3rd the cost of the Shadow Conventions.
4. The Reform Institute regularly supported JM in his various aisle-crossing legislative efforts, including: global warming, open border/immigration reform, and campaign finance (which limited US but not Soros). Indeed, JM’s aisle-crossing usually put him at odds with the CONSERVATIVE members of the GOP.
5. The Tides Foundation is run by anti-war activist Drummond Pike, who has a long history of funding causes such as: abortion, open borders, homosexual-rights, anti-war, anti-US initiatives, etc. Ms. Teresa Heinz-Kerry has funded the Tides Foundation with well over 4 million bucks.
6. The Reform Institute also included the Educational Foundation of America who naturally, opposes drilling in the Arctic National Wildlife Reserve and who support the typical murderous Left in the area of abortion.
7. JM teamed up "Americans for Gun Safety," in 2002 and they are an ANTI Second Amendment group, oddly enough, funded by, yep, you guessed it, Old Spooky Dude, Soros. This group also called for other attacks on the Constitutional rights of Americans but maybe JM missed that part. Oh, and by-the-way, Soros funds about 99.9% of the hoplophobic groups in America today.
8. Remember back in 2006 when JM was forced to cut his ties with the Reform Institute after his $200,000 contribution from Cablevision surfaced like a turd in a punch bowl? It came out that JM solicited the donation for the Reform Institute using his membership on the Senate Committee on Commerce, Science, and Transportation and he also came out FOR Cablevision’s move for the higher priced ala carte programmings vice the packaged type. Yeow, just a WEE bit of corruption and scumbaggery here. Actually, it stinks like a benjo ditch baking in the Okinawa sun.
9. Oh, and it was Senators JM and Joe Lieberman who introduced the putrid and bogus Climate Stewardship Act into the Senate.

This regime cannot even tell the truth regarding unemployment! They spin the U3 number but NEVER discuss the U6 number. Here is the breakdown of how unemployment is tabulated so that YOU can get to the bottom of this regime’s lies.
U1 : Percentage of labor force unemployed 15 weeks or longer.
U2 : Percentage of labor force who lost jobs or completed temporary work.
U3 : Official unemployment rate per ILO definition.
U4 : U3 + "discouraged workers", or those who have stopped looking for work because current economic conditions make them believe that no work is available for them.
U5 : U4 + other "marginally attached workers", or "loosely attached workers", or those who "would like" and are able to work, but have not looked for work recently.
U6 : U5 + Part time workers who want to work full time, but cannot due to economic reasons.
Jan 2009, the U6 number was 14.0% (DoL stats)
Jan 2011, the U6 number IS 16.1%. (DoL stats)
So no, America is not better of jobs-wise with this clown in office.

This is the man who voted to allow infants who have survived an abortion attempt to die cold and alone, like a piece of garbage and who endorses abortion in case one of his daughters has a "mistake." Abortion has nearly destroyed the Black race, even as it has destroyed the Black family while working to create millions upon millions of human leeches like Peggy the Moocher, eager to live off of the hard work of others, "Obama is gonna fill my tank and pay my mortgage…" How long have liberals endorsed abortion and referred to Roe v Wade as their landmark case when in reality, it is actually bad law written into law, by a liberal idiot?
Criminal Justice. The degenerate Left has wrapped their arms around scumbags like Tookie and Mumia and gave them big French kisses yet these are the same people who rape, rob, kidnap, and murder us. Consider America in the 1920’s, when justice was swift and execution of sentences even swifter. People slept with their doors UNLOCKED in the knowledge that their home was sacrosant and their neighbors were honest, and they were! Gee, could it be that people went to church, feared God, labored honestly, raised their kids with morals, values, and beliefs that echoed real American values? Enter the liberals in the 1960’s who rejected these values and beliefs and embraced scumbaggery on huge scale. People like William Ayers (Obama’s buddy) who BOMBED buildings in his own nation and now teaches in Chicago. The "peace, love, dope" crowd who rutted in the mud at Woodstock like animals, had kids willy-nilly, and left them for the collective to raise. And we wonder why children are out of control? Flash mobs in Filthadelphia? Huge dropout rates in high school? Teen pregnancy? Speaking of which, teen pregnancy USED to have a stigma of shame attached to it, until libs took over in the 60’s and now, they celebrate teen sex on MTV.
Social Security. This HUGE Ponzi Scam has bilked TRILLIONS out of the pockets of Americans and American businesses since FDR signed this unconstitutional bullshit into law. Consider this. The first recipient of Ponzi Scam was Ida May Fuller, who paid in 24.75 and collected a total of $22,888.92! THAT, my friends, is how a Ponzi Scam works. First in gets the works while the Last in get the shaft. This scam was created BY liberals, (who exempted themselves of course – like they did with ObamaKare), FOR liberal politicians, who have raped the fund ever since ANOTHER Liberal, LBJ, laundered, oops, funneled the money into the General Fund. Now, WE lose 7.15% from our paychecks while American businesses pay out 7.15% for EACH employee EVERY PAYDAY, into a fund that is bankrupt, and we wonder why businesses have fled America.
Speaking of businesses fleeing America, could it be that it is because Liberals have an anti-business outlook? That they have LIED about taxing businesses and making those rich CEOs PAY UP to the point that those businesses LEFT for greener pastures? We have a 35% Corporate Tax in America (Federal) and that doesn’t include the State, City, and Local taxes slapped on them by greedy liberal politicians. Liberals say that they’re sticking it to the greedy CEOs but who is paying freight here? The US worker is, that’s who. Even CANADA has realized that this kind of thinking is stupid and slashed their corporate tax yet liberals in America continue to think and act stupidly. Hanoi Jean Francois Kerry, who recently dodged 500,000 dollars in taxes he no doubt voted FOR by docking the SS I Served In Vietnam in Rhode Island, whined about outsourcing of American jobs, when his wife’s business, Heinz, has moved THOUSANDS of American jobs overseas. Why? Its cheaper to do business there, thanks to the Left.
The World Will Love Us. Isn’t that what the Left mewled about the US selecting the "I Vote Present" senator from Illinois? Somehow, the Gunny thinks that again, we were lied to by the Left. Obama has been played for a chump by Putin, Hu Jintao, President "I’m-in-a-jihad" in Iran, Chavez (Obama’s soulmate), and every other thug out there! First we heard that Zelaya, for example, was doing right in Honduras, as Obama was backing his play, and then we find out that Zelaya was a Marxist scumbag, trying to usurp the Honduran Constitution (like Obama is doing here)! Going Green. The Left has lied about environmentalism since whatsherface wrote that bullshit book "Silent Spring" and Obama hired radical communist Van Jones as the Green Job Czar, giving him BILLIONS of taxpayer money through the failed Stimulus Scam. BTW Barry, how's that solar screen company in Taxachusetts doing? (It went belly-up). The Left has lied about Global Warming, Cooling, Climate Change, Disruption, whatever they call it, since the 70’s and we’re worse off for it. There is NO comparison for oil in running our economy because the sun doesn’t always shine and the wind doesn’t always blow (now that Chappaquiddick Ted is gone). But we no longer drill, we no longer refine, we no longer build nuclear power plants (thanks Hanoi Jane Fonda and the China Syndrome), but we ARE at the mercy of the Muslim Brotherhood now working to take over Egypt and at the mercy of Iran, who can shut down the Strait of Hormuz whenever they want because they know Obama is a weakling.

Liberalism has worked to destroy the family while raising the ugly specter of the nanny state! Liberalism works to create a legion of victims, surrounding them with lies and half-truths, and pointing them in the direction of those who produce, with their hands out, looking for their cut. The Left has nearly destroyed the public school system through their dumbing-down of students, which has been documented and noted for DECADES yet the Left stands squarely AGAINST school vouchers but sends THEIR KIDS to PRIVATE SCHOOLS (right Obama?). Why? The Teacher’s Union. The liberal lies of multiculturalism, forced tolerance, and forced diversity are now bearing rotten fruit in America as Dhimmis like NYC Mayor Bloomberg kiss the asses of the Islamofascists in their effort to build a mosque at Ground Zero.
